Every manuscript submitted to an IMAQPRESS journal begins with a technical check: we confirm the files are complete, run a similarity report, and verify that ethics and data-availability statements are present.
The handling editor then reads the manuscript to decide whether it fits the journal’s scope and meets a basic quality threshold. Manuscripts that pass are sent to at least two independent reviewers. Authors and reviewers are anonymised to each other.
Reviewers are asked to evaluate originality, methodology, clarity, and the validity of conclusions. The editor weighs the reports, may seek a third opinion, and issues a decision: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject. Revised manuscripts usually return to the original reviewers.
We track turnaround times for every journal and publish them on each journal page, because authors deserve to know what to expect.
